Materials and Care, Clearly Considered

Our baby product material guide explains how we think about fibres, craftsmanship and care—including how to read a baby care label without overstating a claim.

Our Approach

Four principles behind every piece.

01

Materials

We select materials for how they feel, wear and age — natural fibres and considered finishes where they genuinely serve the product, documented plainly on each product page.

02

Design Philosophy

Function is decided before form. A piece earns its shape by solving a real problem in family life, not by looking a certain way in a photograph.

03

Product Documentation

Where a product has undergone specific testing or holds a specific certification, that detail lives on its own product page — never as a blanket claim across the brand.

04

Responsible Decisions

We weigh sourcing, longevity and end-of-life honestly, and we say so only where we can back it with evidence — not aspiration.

A Note on Claims

What we will never do.

We will never publish a certification, safety claim, lab result or sustainability statement that hasn't been verified and approved. Where a claim is still pending review, our team marks it internally for approval rather than publishing it early. If you don't see a claim on a product, it's because we haven't been able to stand behind it yet — not because we forgot.
